Wisdom is gained in self-reflection time
No matter who we are, we all have good times, bad times and learning times. The wisest among us spend many hours learning from their experiences after they happen — reflecting on what had happened and what they have learned. This is no special skill only privileged to the most successful people that have ever lived, as we all can use this easy to use skill. Everyone can take a few minutes to dwell upon what truly happened, what they have learned, could have learned, were meant to learn and how to use the information that presented itself. The reason so many people keep having an experience that they prefer to not have over and over again, is because they have chosen not to learn from it. Personal growth comes from experiences and learning from each and every opportunity that happens to grow themselves. Don’t follow the masses and close your mind to personal growth, open it and become more each and every day.
Action Step: Spend 15 minutes reflecting on how a past obstacle has helped you.
